It's not so much of a technique as it is just knowing what buttons to click in the GE movie maker. Basically after you tell it the resolution of the output you also tell it to use Tour Mode which allows you to set the FPS and also does not move to the next frame until everything in the scene is 100% rendered. These are options I have in the Pro version which may not be available in the free version. That being said, there's a learning curve for everything and I think you did a great job on your videos considering the resources and knowledge you had. Keep playing around with making the videos and you'll figure it out for sure. You've got a lot of enthusiasm and I have no doubt you can offer a lot to this site and the 3D project.
