Combat Talons have visited Groom on some occasions. I can well imagine, but have zero direct knowledge, of a scenario in which a classified tactical system is loaded there, flown directly to some remote deployment location--with refueling a CT2 can get from here to a noncooperative environment anywhere in the world--unpacked, gassed up, and sent into action. The advantage being that the classified asset would touch the ground nowhere but Groom and the target area.
