OK, so I completely agree..now why is it there? And with no wings? It's sitting in a pretty "important" spot right in the middle of the base. If it was off by itself I might think it was for fire/rescue training, but it's next to Hanger 8 and near a lot of recently active areas...weird.
It was not present in the panorama photo posted on this site; that was taken in 2005. So it went in in 2006 sometime.

OK, well one mystery solved and another one opened. What on earth do you do with a wingless C-130 at Area 51?
