Interesting, to me it looks like what appears to be a runway is only about 1,012 feet long. The dirt area (overrun??) south of the strip doesn't appear to be that long. I guess you would want to make sure that the doors on the building at the north end of the strip were open if something was going to land. Good catch, I didn't think to look back at 1998 pictures in that area to see what was there. Anyone know????
