"Board selects F-22 testing members

RANDOLPH AFB, Texas — The Air Force Tuesday announced the names of the initial cadre of officers who will conduct the dedicated initial operational testing and evaluation for the Air Force’s newest fighter — the F-22 Raptor.

A board of senior officers here selected the first 10 officers and one alternate to be assigned to the new weapon system.

The first team of officers will be Lt. Cols Shugato S. Davis, Garvin A. McGettrick and David G. Rose; Majs. Kevin A. Huyck, David A. Krumm, Mark E. Ladtkow, Michael Shower and David E. Thole; and Capts. Charles S. Corcoran and Christopher J. Niemi. Capt. Craig R. Baker is an alternate.

These officers will conduct the initial testing at Edwards AFB, Calif., and Nellis AFB, Nev. F-22 pilot training for the initial cadre is scheduled to begin in March."
