Good time to chime in. My Dad worked for Douglass Aircraft for most of my life and I recalled a few items after watching the Area 51 show. Several times when I was a kid Mom, Dad and I packed up and went to a little motel outside of Las Vegas named Rancho Vaquero. Dad would get up in the morning and "go to work". Later he made many trips to unknown destinations and occasionally would return home with an old stile radiation film badge. I couldn't figure out why he needed a rad badge for working on airplanes. Dad said had a security clearance and would not talk about his jobs. Kinda mysterious.
