Correct, that would be a total no-no. I know that many of the Roadrunners, the folks who worked on the A-12 and U-2 spy planes in the 60's, only now learn what their buddies worked on in the next hangar over.

As for private vehicles, I suppose it would be too difficult to search them. Much easier to have everyone pass through a metal deector and then use cleared vehicles past that. No cameras, cell phones etc. allowed at the base. There are lockers available for such items at the Janet terminal.
