I don't even think they are that worried. Not much interest in watching people dressed in street clothes getting on a plane headed for the Range!!! I have driven by there often and never found anything too interesting or anything that I shouldn't have seen. The county allows for buildings up to 200 feet near the airport. This ride is supposedly 500 feet so it will need approval from the county. Seems to me that it will be too tall to be that close to the airport. The Air Force in general doesn't seem to oppose very much in any great public display. I was shocked that they hardly threw a fit when the guy wanted to build a prison near Rachel or when Harry Reid suggested building the huge wind turbine on the Range. The Air Force just seems to go along with everything!
