I'm one who happens to think the USAF picked their preferred AC the first time around in the KC-30. This time around the politics of the decision and union interests "corrected" the USAF's earlier equipment decision.

Oh well, the Air Force needs new tankers. They may be getting the second best and lesser preferred tanker, but, at least they are new tankers. Alas.......
