I posted this story because it is highly unusual for high ranking Air Force officers of any nation to defect with their aircraft. It is clear that the government of Libya is next in line to fall. After that the next candidates are Bahrain, Yemen, Algeria, Iraq, and then maybe possibly Iran and Saudi Arabia. It's a time of unprecedented change in the Mid East. The U.S. commands in these regions must be at the highest alert levels. We can expect the price of oil to rise and the stock market to fall in response. I hope this is not a prelude to war in the Mid East.
