I know you work at Edwards, did that get you onto Vandenberg AFB or did you watch the launch from public land? I would have liked to go down to see the launch, but Lompoc is about an 800 mile round trip from Las Vegas. Then a hotel in Santa Barbara to coax the wife into going. Now you're talking big bucks!

But I guess you can look at it like the TV commercial:

Meal at In and Out Burger -$12
Gas -$150
Hotel Room in SB -$200

Seeing a Delta IV Heavy Launch -Priceless!
