Possibly the coolest aircraft ever made!! The crash video at the bottom of the article has several photos towards the end which I did not know existed and have never seen before. Note the contrail that is overhead in a couple of the photos. I have read that the contrail was from a B-58 who was not supposed to be in the airspace, and that maybe the pilot of the F-104 got distracted by the sight of the B-58 flying directly overhead of the formation flight.
