Just a little history. One of the best places to stop after work (or anytime for that matter) was a place called the "Office" at 90th St E and Ave E. You could call home from work before you left to warn your loved ones you would be stuck at the "Office" and were going to be late. It was about half way between Edwards and Lancaster and had the best hamburgers in the area. As I recall, pickled eggs were also a specialty. It closed for some unknown reason (health department was the rumor) about 20 years ago. It's demise was a real loss to those of us from Edwards that used the South entry/exit to the base. Those were the good old days. I wish I had a picture of it at it's peak with 40-50 cars parked all over the place.
