I am doing a trip out to the Edwards area and Antelope Valley in March. I've been wondering where the best place would be to have a beer at the end of day, and relax with some of the Edwards locals? I assume there are a couple of places that might have all kinds of air force history, with the base, and the people and pilots, and photos on the walls? Where did the 1950's/1960's test pilots at Edwards go to have a beer at the end of a day?? Was that Sam's Place? Anywhere else?
