Wondering what the law is regarding finding apparently abandoned stuff on public lands? I've always removed whatever garbage I find from trails in national parks, or from the campsite on BLM land just off HWY 375, and the like. Would it be a crime to remove that from the BLM land as a way of cleaning up "litter?" Or am I also free to install whatever I want out there?
