Man, everything that guy said in the e-mail to you would make sense, along with some good facts.

1) The date is correct, 2) he was out "working on a road" where someone with a small camera could have snapped off a shot (several roads to/from Groom Lake were being built or improved at that time), 3) an F-15 always flew with the Have Blue, 4) the Have Blue was a "little plane" compared to the F-15, certainly less than half the size.

Makes me wonder now...

I see that the e-mail for this guy you posted was "chllpepper@hotmail.com". Is the "i" missing as in "chill"?? simply the reason your e-mail to him was getting rejected?
