I can say this much. There "some" in the AF that feel that if someone took pictures of these aircraft, it would save the AF a lot of red tape and time. Why? The "slugs" in Washington that control such releases don't want to release anything on such matters. The AF would rather it came out by someone getting a photo than to wait years for a release of something that has been seen numerous times (but without AF acknowledgement). A good photo is better than a reported sighting. It might force the "slugs" in charge of releases to acknowledge these aircraft.
