Tonight at 5:11 I noticed a very strange set of contrails over the NTS. The contrails were almost straight up and down. My first thought was it is probably an optical illusion like the plane over the LA coast a few weeks ago. The more I looked at it, the more it really looked as if it was some type of launch. There were two contrails that both looked as if they were going straight up or one object had gone up and then down. It definitely didn't match any normal contrails that usually form when planes are heading east to west or west to east. This appeared north to south, but mainly up and then down. It is probably nothing, but I am wondering if those on here who track flights noticed anything at 5:11 over the NTS? Just curious. Probably nothing but maybe something. Do they ever launch any type of rockets out of the Range or NTS???
