It is with great sadness that I have to report that Leland Haynes, webmaster of SR-71 Blackbirds, has passed away last night after a severe illness. Leland served in the United States Air Force for 20 years and on the Blackbird from 1969 to 1974 at Beale AFB, CA. He shared his passion for the SR-71 in his "SR-71 Blackbirds" web site (see attached link), which for now remains online. He will be missed by his friends in the Roadrunners community.
