You might also try to check out the B-58 ("Snoopy"), the F-101 and two B-52's that are sitting derlect out in the desert just to the south/southeast of Edwards dry lake. Also some good viewing spots just to the east of there where you can look across and see the base tarmac.

NAS China Lake has excellent viewing spots close by around the base perimeter. Examples of most of the aircraft that were flown there are on display next to the base, along with a few rockets, missiles and targets. There is a tour of Indian petroglyphs that you can take that takes you a good distance into the China Lake bombing and testing range (see China Lake Museum).
