OT: NRO satellite launch

For those in Southern California, you might want to watch the skies on Monday evening at 8:29. The 4th Space Launch Squadron and United Launch Alliance are scheduled to loft a new satellite into orbit for the National Reconnaissance Office. The classified payload, designated NROL-41, will be carried into space by an Atlas V (501) booster from Complex 3E at Vandenberg Air Force Base. In the event of a delay, Monday's launch window is 59 minutes long.

I plan to be at Vandenberg for the launch. If the weather is good (i.e. not too foggy) then it should be quite spectacular. The drive to Vandenberg is several hours but I don't mind as long as I get to see something tube-shaped with fire coming out one end.
