Yeah, the YF-110A Spectre was renamed the F-4C Phantom II when the century series was abandoned in favor of a unified Mission/Design/Series (MDS) designation system. For whatever reason, the new series began with F-4 instead of F-1, perhaps because the Navy only had to change their F4H-1 to F-4A.
