I'm sorry, but this whole license plate cover-up thing is rediculous! If you are clean with your background then you have nothing to hide.... license plate or otherwise, no matter who is checking. If you are not clean, then I suggest you stay away from anyone who might run your plates for whatever reason, simple as that. Otherwise, keep your plates on, be cool, drive safely and don't cross "Use of Deadly Force Authorized" signs.
