Jim, You can go right up to the "Back Gate" or also called the "Rachel Gate." You will come to a Rail Road type crossing gate on Valley Road. Feel free to pull over to the side and get a photo of you in front of the "No Photography" sign! ;-) Look to the right of the gate on the Antenna type tower for the camera tracking you. If you go after sunset look towards the second guard house back for the camera's TV monitor and the Cammo Dude looking at you with night vision. That's always fun! If you look at Joerg's "Rachel, NV and Tikaboo Valley Map" under the Maps & GPS button to your left, that will give you the high lights for a visit to Area 51. Mid October the days will be shorter, but if you don't dilly dally, you might get to see them all in one day... Enjoy your trip!
