I read somewhere years ago that Nellis Pilots had to be very, very careful that not even their wing tip be in the corner airspace of Groom Lake/Aera-51 and that the pilots would be in a lot of hot water. I believe an incident took place envolving and F-16 during a Red Flag mission and apparently the pilot srayed just barely in to Area-51 and he got read the riot act so that wing tip in Area-51 Airspace is not tolerated! I belive that possibly something happened and they want nobody on the outside to ever know.
