I was looking at the C17's parked at the Long Beach, CA airport and they don't seem to have the flat back at the center line that the item in the picture does. Maybe it was only partially assembled too. The wing tips look different also. I can't believe that Lockheed would leave something like that out either, but stranger things have happened.
