"New" Groom Lake Military Border

In reference to the last two pictures on the "Freedom Ridge" page, the date stamps state that they were taken in 1999 - long after the Campbell-inspired '95 landgrab. From the angle of the shots the first seems to have been taken from just south-east of Freedom Ridge while the second (the one that shows the FR Expressway) was taken from directly south.

Is it fair to say that the military border (on that side of Groom Lake Road) comes down from the signs near the turnaround and the lookout, swings back east around the base of Freedom Ridge and stops at "Old Groom Road" then swings back to the west? If that's the case, where-about does the border stand to the west. I.E., if I'm the photographer who took the last picture, how far to my right is that portion of the border, and does it run pretty much due South or are there more curves back to the east/west? Does it actually follow along a physical marker like a canyon floor or is it just an imaginary line?
