I drive by the airport everyday to go to work. On Tuesday, I did not hear one JANET call in on the way home around 6pm. That's prime JANET landing time but I did hear ATC give a shear wind advisory on the scanner. The wind was stiff but yesterday the wind was over the top. Good to see the in the air again. Joerg, you said you haven't seen them grounded much in the past. Do you remember what happened after 9/11/2001? Did the FAA ground them with all other civilian traffic or did they continue on? Just curious if they operate to the beat of their own drum...
