In hind sight I think the jet fighter sized airplane may have been a Nasa jet maybe f-16, F-18 or whatever. I remember hearing lastnight on the Nasa coverage that they send up a plane to check the conditions at the potental landing sites prior to a shuttle landing. So I think that may have been what was going on. Still not sure about the one aircraft I categorized as a UAV though.
