Or maybe they dont need another guard station down the same road since there buffer zone is 15 miles. Plus you have the dudes on the hill that would tell everyone the second you drove through the border they would already have something set up at the gate. So imagine if someone made it passed the guard station.. The chopper would be out 5 miles ahead there would be a road block and you would barely be able to see area 51.. In the distance yes but that doesn't matter you are still 10 miles away.
