They are pretty common over the ranges from Nellis and other parts.

Ironically, when you mentioned the below from the previous post, the A-10 popped-up in my mind's eye:

"2. It was black, made no sound, and had no markings that I or her could see.

4. Low to mid should mounted wings

4. It was multi engined and the engines (or what looked like engines) seemed apart.

5. It moved slow then took off at a gradual speed till it got some altitude...."

Non-afterburning turbofans (rather quiet for a military rig) mounted very prominently......many A-10s today wear an overall dark livery that can appear black.....moving relatively slow and low to the ground, etc.
