I only want to travel light...and maybe for 3 or 4 days..

Is the 22 mile track likely to be OK.. or will it likely be rough going after the winter ? Will I need a 4 wheel drive .... IF I Hire from Las vegas what would likely be the cheapest suitable vehicle that I could hire ? is there just a 4 wheel car rather than a Land rover / range rover vehicle..

I am not sure if Its wise to spend a night on Tikaboo
with only very limited equipment.... ie Just a Mat / Bivy Bag... Basic stove...unless it is warm enough..
It would be along night..

Is there much in in the evening in Alamo or Rachel ?

How far east can one travel in the back roads.. can you visit any of the salt flats ..below The tickaboo
trail.

I assume that it will be a very quiet area ..
