Wow. To think of all the moderator postings I've seen that said insulting posts or name calling will not be tolerated. People have been banned and posts deleted for stuff like that. Apparently there are exceptions. A reasonable response would have been to point out that part of the exercise of writing a paper is to learn to do research and not be spoon fed. Not that the original poster was actually asking that, he was merely asking for pointers to credible sources. Yeah, that sounds pretty idiotic.
