You might wish to use some of my articles on this web site. I have been researching “black” projects and the history of Area 51 for more than 25 years. My work is based on interviews with numerous test pilots, engineers, commanders, and support personnel, archival research of declassified documents, and fieldwork including visits to crash sites of experimental vehicles.

Additionally, I am the author of numerous articles, technical papers, and several books, and have appeared on such television programs as Inside Area 51, Mystery Hunters, Return to Area 51, Modern Marvels, Atomic Journeys, Man-Moment-Machine, and others.

As a founding member of the X-Hunters Aerospace Archeology Team, I have explored numerous crash sites in the southwestern United States, especially from the areas surrounding Edwards Air Force Base and Area 51. Some of this is covered in my book, X-Plane Crashes – Exploring Experimental, Rocket Plane and Spycraft Incidents, Accidents and Crash Sites (Specialty Press, 2008).

Because of my work as an historian, I became an associate member of Roadrunners Internationale (the Area 51 alumni organization) to help record members’ stories before they are lost forever. I specialize in genuine, documented history from credible sources and tangible physical evidence.

Here is a link to my historical overview of Area 51. This provides a good background and framework for any documentary of the subject:

One of the biggest myths about Area 51 is that the facility was not officially acknowledged by the government until 1995. This link documents some surprising results of my research:

Projects are undertaken at Area 51 behind a veil of secrecy, usually only being revealed to the public years later. Tests involving reconnaissance platforms, stealth aircraft, and foreign military hardware have been declassified. This link reveals some of the programs that still remain to be unveiled:
