A new show that looks into various myths and theories surrounding the disappearence of Steve Fossett will air on National Geographic Channel next Monday at 8pm. One of the theories that are looked at, and dismissed, is that he somehow crossed into Area 51 air space and was shot down.
I showed the crew to a couple of military crash sites around the ranges to explain why there are more than the usual number of crash sites around the ranges and why it is highly unlikely that a civilian aircraft would be shot down. BTW: If I look a little tired, there was way too much partying at the Inn the night before the shoot... :-)
