Had a similar incident occur in the 80's when I worked for an airline at McCarran. I was in ops when we received a call. The caller requested access to our gate for two individuals who would deplane just the other side of our ramp. The 737 pulled up, the airstairs deployed and two men were escorted to our outside jetway door and boarded on our flight to Ontario, CA. They barely made the flight. Don't know who they were but I took them for military pilots. I can't imagine anyting like that happening with the security requirements we have today.
