i agree with your assessment of what it looks like. the front half looks like a derivative of the SU-27/35 and the back half (especially the tails) look more like a BlackWidow (YF-23) than a F-22. IMHO the YF-23 was by far the better than the YF-22 and should have won the competition; i guess the russians figured that out while our Defense Department couldn't. i am not bitter - just an objective engineer and not a politician.
