If someone was going to do a straightforward documentary of the history of the Apollo lunar exploration program, they would normally not feel compelled to address the "Moon landing hoax" conspiracy theory. Similarly, a World War Two documentary would not touch on the "Holocaust denial" conspiracy theory. The same should be true for Area 51 and the "alien/UFO" conspiracy theory. From my point of view, this is not a question of skepticism versus belief. It is strictly an issue of history versus mythology.
