I had read speculation that maybe these A-7s that belong to Tonopah were somewhat modified with F-117 avionics for daytime training, and I recently asked a former Bandit who had been in a command position if it was true. He said no, they were not modified with different avionics. However they did do a ruse with fake symbols and lights on drop tanks/gear containers on occasion.
