I took a closer look at the pit today. It looks like they are mining sand, not gravel, as I had originally thought. It is quite an operation, compared to what the pit looked like only a few weeks ago...

I hear that the loads are indeed going to the Test Site. Some of the trucks are going into the Back gate, while others are going to Cedar Gate. There is talk about a new road being put in that connects the Back Gate road with Cedar Gate.

I still don't understand why they need to bring in the dirt from Rachel when there is plenty of it right there...
