Depending on your source, it's either ready to go or the PAK FA has yet to make its initial test flight. Globalsecurity.org and even Wikipedia suggest that the PAK FA is anything but ready to go. Given the Russian military's funding gap between underwriting prototypes and actually equipping the military with new machines (from what I understand, the Russians are still updating their SU-27 fleet), I think that this is something we might see in some sort of production run between five to seven years from now, not this year. As for the design, I would imagine that it will be more "evolutionary" than "revolutionary." Check the attached Russian link for speculative pics galore.
