Somewhat on topic, back in the mid 90s I recall having a conversation in Rachel with Art Fletcher about anything new flying in the area. Art discribed a "black arrow shaped aircraft with a wierd v tail". This turned out to be the F-117 in flight test. I have seen the F-22 in the area during it's early test days. Art has passed on, but the locals see lots of activity, and they mostly keep the sightings to them selves. As many of his neighbors were working at Groom he, and others, generally didn't tell others of what they saw. This was in the Lazar heyday so there were tons of visitors(including me). I guess the didn't want any reason to invite more.
