It should be pointed out that all those towns along route 95 have very vigilent traffic enforcement, Tonopah included. After driving at highway speed for many miles, 25 miles per hour seems like you are standing still, but obey the limit. The police in Goldfield had tailed me once in a blacked-out cruiser, but I ruined their day by not speeding. I haven't had any incidents in Tonopah, but I am very careful not to speed.
