By all means, I would not intend to insult anyone with that statement. My response was simply an analytical perspective on the article. The article concludes with a question asking why organizations have ignored the invitations.
My perspective explains those possibilities from another viewpoint. A (question) rationalizing why the CIA would want to be involved? I'm sure the CIA has true and honorable intentions for attending the event. I was a bit too blunt and could have been more tactful.
