This story is true as far as I'm concerned...I talked with Jerry on the phone for about 2 hours personally after he finished the hike about a week later. I talked with him about Papoose Lake, the inscriptions he was looking for on the wall for the 49er's and many other things. I found him to be very credible. There are many more things we talked about as well....
