Whenever I go camping, exploring and listening around the "Area" I have a dedicated scanner with all the posted road sensor frequencies and a Micro Alert RF detector. Didn't really work. If the sensors have a delay of even a couple of minutes that would put the tone burst into just another annoying noise catagory. The Micro Alert worked very well when we went up the Bald Mountain road from the South. But this isn't what you asked, sorry.
