O.T. Discovery STS-128

Discovery STS-128 was waived off from it's Thursday landing at the Kennedy Space Center due to poor weather and high X-winds in the area.

It is currently scheduled to land tomorrow at KSC, however, the weather forecast for there is expected to be worse than today. They just called up Edwards Air Force Base as the back up. It has two attempts to land there if and when they scrub KSC:

Orbit #219: Deburn at 6:53pm central time, Landing at 5:53pm LOCAL time.

Orbit #220: Deburn at 8:26pm central time, Landing at 7:28pm LOCAL time.

Unfortunately, they do not let you on the lakebed anymore to watch the landing. You can still view it from from various places along CA HWY 58. I only bring this all up because after Discovery's landing (hopefully) tomorrow, there are only 6 more flights left. Then say bye-bye to the Shuttle!
