I stumbled upon this guy's site awhile back. He says he's an ecologist that worked on a study of the impact of the Yucca Mountain Project on the animal life, etc. He also hints he worked at Area 51, but who can say... Regardless, he has an interesting site, filled with useful desert information. I find myself drifting back to his site from time to time for quick reference. I think it's definitely worth a look if you live here or are coming out for a visit. Lots of hikes listed with detailed directions, etc. and other things to do in the desert.
