TACIT BLUE is hilarious. It looks like they threw away the plane and kept the box it came in. From what I hear, it was indeed a challenging program. I have met all of the pilots. As a matter of fact, Northrop test pilot Dick Thomas was a good friend of mine. He told me that the "Brand X" (Lockheed) team nicknamed him "Captain Nemo" because the thing looked more like a submarine than a plane. They should talk! The F-117A was pretty weird looking, too. Now both planes are in the Air Force Museum.
