It's not really that unusual - a while back during a visit to Trinity Site, (White Sands Missle Test Range) while we where escorted to the actual site through the missle range in our own vehicles - we where explicitlly informed - NO PHOTOGRAPHY DURING ESCORT - but we could film Trinity Site itself.
..and so it goes.
